Ingredients
- 2 boiled potatoes
- 2 small red onions
- 1 green chili
- small handful of cilantro
- whole wheat flour (enough to make about 1 fist sized ball of dough, about a cup give or take)
- water
Spices
- 1/8 tsp garlic herb or powder
- 1/2 tsp garam seeds (optional)
- pinch black pepper
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Steps
- chop the onions, cilantro, and green chili
- mash the potatoes
- Mix onions, cilantro, chili, potatoes,cilantro, and spices and mix thoroughly
- make about a cup of dough out of flour and water
- flatten the roti (like the other recipe), using flour to keep it from sticking
- add the stuffing (the mixture should make about 4 or 5 roti), and enclose it with the roti
- flatten stuffed roti again, slowly to try and keep from getting too much of the stuffing from coming out
- fly in a frying pan on medium heat, flip it somewhat regularly until it's cooked through
Add some green sauce, or other indian curries as a topping
