Ingredients
- 1 cup peas (boiled)
- 4 tomatoes
- 2 small onions
- 1 small piece of ginger
- 1 green chili (optional for spiciness)
- 4 cloves of garlic
- small handful of cilantro
Spices
- 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1/2 tsp mango powder
- small pinch hing
Steps
- dry roast cumin seeds
- add ginger, garlic, chilis and water sauté for a couple minutes
- add onions and continue to water sauté for another 5 or 6 minutes
- add tomatoes and spices and continue to cook down for another 7 minutes adding water as needed
- add boiled peas and mix and cook for 1 minute
- top with cilantro
Enjoy with roti and rice
