Roti / Naan

Ingredients


  • 1 cup of whole wheat flour
  • water as needed

Steps


  1. add flour to a bowl
  2. add water slowly, mixing thoroughly until it gets to a nice thick dough (watch the video for the consistency, roughly play dough)
  3. form into small balls - roughly golf ball sized
  4. flatten out, coat with flour to keep from sticking.  pat off the flour as much as you can before cooking
  5. pan fry them, flipping every 30-45 seconds until they start to toast
  6. cook directly on the stove / fire - this will brown it up a bit and it will start to swell up

serve (store them inside a towel)
