Potato Chaat


Ingredients


  • 2 boiled/baked potatoes (diced)
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • Lemon juice to taste (1 tsp or so)
  • Some cilantro green sauce (3 or 4 spoonfuls)
  • Some cilantro to top

Spices


  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp Curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Mango Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin Powder

Steps


  1. put potatoes into a bowl with spices and mix to coat the potatoes
  2. dry roast the potato mix on a slow flame (take care not to press the potatoes so they keep their shape) - 2 minutes
  3. put potatoes back into the bowl, and add remaining ingredients and mix as a salad

Optional:
Add some tamarind sauce, or a tsp of jaggery
