Makki Ki Roti (Corn Flour Roti)

Ingredients


  • 1 cup maize Flour
  • water as needed

Steps


  1. slowly add water, 1 or 2 tbsp at a time, until the dough sticks together as a whole
  2. kneed the dough for several minutes (the more time you spend the better the dough will roll out)
  3. apply water to your hands to help the dough not stick to your hand
  4. take a golfball sized piece of dough (about half of the dough) and flatten with your hands, slowly pressing as you go (add more water as needed) until it's as flat as you can make it
  5. dry fry on a hot pan, flipping as it gets brown
  6. add directly to the flame for 15 to 30 seconds per side (flipping every 15 or so seconds until it's cooked as much as you want it to be)
