Ingredients
- 2 small onions
- 2 green chili
- 1 cup chickpea flour (just ground dry chickpeas)
- water as needed
Spices
- 1/2 tsp mango powder (optional)
- 1/8 tsp Ajwain (optional)
- 1/8 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 1/4 tsp red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Steps
- chop onions and green chilis
- add onions and green chilis to chickpea flour
- add all spices, and mix it up
- add a little water at a time until it becomes a very very thick pancake mix (get it to a thick paste, and then add a bit more so that it's a thick waffle consistency - see video)
- cook the pancakes until the onions are done in a pan
These go great with a green sauce, another curry, etc.
