Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked chick peas (soak overnight and boil) without the liquid
- 2 small tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 green chili ( minced)
- Cilantro for topping

- 1.5 tsp coriander powder
- 1.5 tsp Chana masala Mix (use curry powder if you can’t find)
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp carom/cumin mix (take 1/4 tsp of carom (ajwain) seeds and 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, dry roast and grind)
- 1/2 tsp mango powder (or a little lemon juice after cooking)
Steps
- Take the bowl of chickpeas (not on heat) and add spices, tomatoes, and chilis and mix together
- add the bowl of everything into a heated pan and water sauté for a few minutes to get the tomatoes starting to break down and all the spices cooked
- once cooked add the cilantro to the top
