Ingredients
- 1/4 cup cashews
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1kg carrots
- 250g dates
- 3 cups almond milk (3 cups water and a handful of almonds blended)
Steps
- soak dates in some warm water for 20 minutes, then blend into a date paste
- dry roast carrots over a slow flame for 20 minutes, stirring often, when it starts to stick to the bottom it’s time to add the milk
- cook down the milk and carrots for another 10 minutes
- add date paste and stir for another several minutes
- add the cashews and raisins, and stir it together
